Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SiteButcher desktop application and the sitebutcher.com website ("the Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
SiteButcher is a desktop application that helps users build, publish and manage websites and connect them to Google Search Console. The application runs on the user's own computer and acts using the accounts, servers and credentials the user provides.
2. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the content you create, publish and manage with the Service.
- You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and with the terms of any third‑party service you connect (including Google, your hosting providers, and your domain registrars).
- You must hold the necessary rights and permissions for any domains, accounts and content you use with the Service.
- You are responsible for keeping your device, credentials and connected accounts secure.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to violate the law, infringe the rights of others, or breach the terms of any platform you interact with through the Service. You are solely responsible for how you use the websites and content you produce.
4. Third‑party services
The Service integrates with third‑party platforms (such as Google Search Console) at your direction. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability, behavior or policy changes of third‑party services.
5. Intellectual property
The SiteButcher application, website, branding and underlying software are owned by SiteButcher and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership of the Service to you. Content you create with the Service belongs to you.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non‑infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error‑free, or that results obtained from it (including search‑engine outcomes) will meet your expectations.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SiteButcher will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
